Inauguration of the Rabten Jampa Ling Centre in Buftea

We warmly invite you on the 4th and 5th of July 2026, to the inauguration of the first Rabten Tibetan Studies Centre in Romania, opened under the guidance of the Venerable Gonsar Rinpoche, after 16 years of activities and events held in Romania. Over the two days, there will be teachings offered by the Venerable Gonsar Rinpoche, as well as the official opening ceremony of the new centre, led by the Venerables Yangsi Rinpoche and Gonsar Rinpoche. **Schedule** **Saturday** 09:00 - Puja & Inauguration 12:00 - 14:30 Lunch Break 14:30 - Inauguration 18:00 - Dinner **Sunday** 09:00 - Teachings, Meditation 12:00 - 14:30 Lunch Break 14:30 - Teachings, Meditation 18:00 - Dinner **Practical Information** **Meals (lunch and dinner):** approximately 60-70 lei / meal **Participation:** Free entry on Saturday. White Tara teachings and initiation with Venerable Gonsar Rinpoce

Bucharest - 27-28 September - Teachings and long-life blessings About the event We have the great joy to announce that the Venerable Gonsar Rinpoce will be present again in Romania, in Bucharest, from 27-28 September, to teach and confer long-life blessings through the White Tara Initiation. Venerable Gonsar Rinpoce will transmit essential aspects of the teachings of Buddha Śākyamuni, as transmitted through an unbroken chain of Indian and Tibetan masters. The teachings will be based on one of the texts composed by the great Bengali master Atiśa Dīpamkara-śrī-jñāna, who played the most important role in the transmission of Buddhist teachings from India to Tibet. On the occasion of this event, Master Gonsar Rinpoce will offer the (long) transmission of the text „The Swift Attraction of the Enrapturing Power” - a hymn of praise dedicated to the White Tara, which he himself authored. The text will be available in Romanian. The teaching will be in English with interpretation into Romanian. Mental health in the Buddhist tradition

About the event Clinica Color Mind, in collaboration with Rabten Jampa Ling Romania and Herald Publishing House, is organising a special event dedicated to those interested in mental health and inner balance: „Mental health from the perspective of the Buddhist tradition - a dialogue with the venerable Gonsar Rinpoce”. The event will take place on Friday, 26 September 2025, at the National Library of Romania (Eliade Room, UU-22), starting at 6:30 pm, and will be moderated by Dr Ana Maria Iordache, psychiatrist and psychotherapist. Theme The Venerable Gonsar Rinpoce will give a lecture on how the Buddhist tradition approaches the functioning of mind and consciousness. In a world increasingly preoccupied with mental health, this perspective offers particular insight into the inner workings of suffering as well as valuable ideas for cultivating inner balance. The event is addressed in particular to mental health professionals (psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, coaches), but also to all those interested in introspection, personal development, applied spirituality and the relationship between science and tradition. The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session allowing participants to enter into direct dialogue with the master. The lectures will be in English with interpretation into Romanian.
