About us
The association Rabten Jampa Ling was born out of the desire to promote and publicise the Tibetan language, culture and spiritual tradition in Romania, as well as to share these values with all those who are eager to discover them and feel an affinity towards them.
We are part of the international Rabten community, founded by the Venerable Master Rabten Rinpoche - one of the most important Tibetan masters in authentically transmitting Tibetan Buddhist teachings to the West.
Through conferences, dialogues and cultural encounters, especially in the university environment, we aim to build a bridge between Tibetan culture and Western culture, thus opening new horizons of understanding in the Romanian space.
Our community took root in 2010, with the first visit to Romania of the Venerable Master Gonsar Rinpoche, and continues to grow under his wise and compassionate guidance.
