From 11-15 April, Venerable Gonsar Rinpoche, spiritual director of the Rabten Choeling Centre of Higher Tibetan Studies in Switzerland (rabten.eu), was in Romania for the third time at the invitation of the Seeds for Happiness Centre, the Herald Publishing House and the Rabten Compassionate & Wisdom Association. The series of events began on Friday morning, 12 April, with a meeting with students and professors from the Faculty of Philosophy, continued the same evening with a public lecture at the Casa de Cultura a Studenților and concluded with a weekend of lectures at the Seeds for Happiness Centre on 13-14 April. Thus through his personal example, as well as through his teachings, we had the rare opportunity to get to know a personality and a fulfilled mind, bearing the stamp of a luminous strength and clarity. Due to the interest aroused by this event, the Rabten Compassionate Wisdom Association ( www.rabten.ro) is planning to organise future events and meetings with Venerable Gonsar Rinpoche. Thank you!
