Mental health in the Buddhist tradition
About the event
The Color Mind Clinic, in collaboration with Rabten Jampa Ling Romania and Herald Publishing House, is organising a special event dedicated to those interested in mental health and inner balance: „Mental Health from the Perspective of Buddhist Tradition - a dialogue with the Venerable Gonsar Rinpoche”.
The event will take place on Friday, 26 September 2025, at the National Library of Romania (Eliade Hall, UU-22), starting at 18:30, and will be moderated by Dr Ana Maria Iordache, psychiatrist and psychotherapist.
Theme
Venerable Gonsar Gonsar Rinpoce will give a lecture on the Buddhist tradition's approach to the functioning of mind and consciousness. In a world increasingly preoccupied with mental health, this perspective offers particular insight into the inner workings of suffering, as well as valuable ideas for cultivating inner balance.
The event is addressed in particular to mental health professionals (psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychiatrists, coaches), but also to all those interested in introspection, personal development, applied spirituality and the relationship between science and tradition.
The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session that will allow participants to engage in a direct dialogue with the master.
The lessons will be in English with interpretation into Romanian.
